Far as the Curse is Found
One of the most popular Christmas carols of all time is Joy to the World (195). While it was not technically written as a song about the first advent of Christ but the second the anticipation of Christ universal reign described in its content fits nicely into our theme. Christ may have trod a small portion of this earth during His period of humiliation, but in His exaltation He reigns in glory with all authority over heaven and earth. In the fullness of time His glory will be known pole to pole and shore to shore as He rules the world with truth and grace and makes the nations prove the wonders of His love. Let every heart prepare Him room!
